Our Staff

McGee Street Animal Hospital is staffed by the most caring and attentive people who will do everything they can to make you and your pets feel like part of the family.

Dr. Greg Emmert DVM, CCRP

Dr. Emmert has been the veterinarian at McGee Street Animal Hospital since 2001. He is a 1998 graduate of Oklahoma State University and a native Oklahoman.

In 2009, he became the first veterinarian in Oklahoma to become a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. He is married to Jennifer and has a daughter, Ryan and a son, Benjamin.

Outside of his veterinary medicine, he enjoys snow skiing, working and playing outdoors, and messing with his old tractor.

Amanda Kennedy

Amanda has been on staff since 2003. She is a valuable assistant and keeps our hospital running smoothly. She is a native of Purcell and married to Clent. They have a son, Ethan, who keeps them busy at home. When she is not caring for your pets, she enjoys going to the lake and camping.

Jennifer Hougland

Jennifer is a Registered Veterinary Technician and came to McGee Street in 2007. She graduated from OSU-OKC and provides outstanding care for our patients. Jennifer enjoys being outdoors when its warm and cooking.

Aly Picek

Aly is our receptionist and the smiling face that greets you every day. She works hard to make sure your visits are enjoyable and is available to answer your questions. Aly is from Norman and enjoys going to the movies and spending time with her family.

Christi Sauler

Christi is our professional groomer. When your dog needs to be pampered, she delivers. Christi will groom your dog with exceptional patience and ability. You can trust they will be beautiful when she is finished. She is married to John and they have adopted a little girl.

Cassie Ehardt, Christina Ritchie and Gilbert Velascez

Cassie, Christina, and Gilbert are our kennel attendants/assistants and the ones providing compassionate attention to your pets while in our care. This group of people pays close attention to the dogs and cats (and other pets) we board and treat.
